CARE USA

CARE USA is the United States member of CARE, working around the world to save lives, defeat poverty, and stand with women and families. It is distinct from the CARE International secretariat, which coordinates the wider confederation, but it shares the same humanitarian purpose. Programs respond to emergencies and support longer efforts so people can earn a living and meet basic needs.

CARE’s public description puts women and girls at the center because gains in their health, education, and income tend to reach the whole household. U.S. supporters fund that work through donations and partnerships.
