Charity: Water
Brings clean water to developing countries
About the Organization
charity: water is a nonprofit founded in 2006 to bring clean, safe drinking water to people who do not have it. It funds water projects with local partners and tracks them so donors can see where work is happening. The organization treats the global water crisis as solvable if funding, engineering, and community partners stay aligned.
Projects include new water points and the upkeep those systems need. The public goal is straightforward: everyone should be able to rely on water that is safe to drink within their lifetime.
