Earthjustice

Earthjustice is a nonprofit public-interest environmental law organization. It uses litigation and partnerships to protect people’s health, wildlife, and remarkable places, and to advance clean energy while confronting climate change. The group’s own description is that the earth needs a good lawyer, and its cases are brought with community and organizational clients.

Lawyers and advocates turn environmental rules into enforceable protections. The work is legal rather than a field conservation program: courtrooms, agencies, and partnerships are how Earthjustice tries to change outcomes for people and ecosystems.
