Protects digital privacy and rights
About the Organization
The Electronic Frontier Foundation defends civil liberties where technology and daily life meet. Founded in 1990, it works on privacy, free expression, and innovation through litigation, policy analysis, grassroots action, and technology projects. Issues on its site include surveillance, security, and the rules that govern creativity online.
EFF also publishes guides and builds practical tools that help people protect their own online communications. It describes the fight as belonging to anyone who uses technology, not only to lawyers or specialists.
