Feeding America

Feeding America is a hunger-relief organization that connects a nationwide network of food banks with people who need food. It describes itself as the largest such network in the United States. Programs include food distribution, meals for children, and help connecting families with public nutrition benefits, alongside research on where hunger is most severe.

The organization treats hunger as tied to poverty and health, not only to an empty pantry. Food banks and meal programs are the immediate response, while advocacy and data are meant to support longer-term solutions.
