Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity works on housing through home construction, repairs for older adults, neighborhood revitalization, and disaster response. Local Habitat organizations build and repair homes with volunteers, partner families, and community groups. ReStores sell donated materials and furnishings, and that activity sits alongside the building work.

The organization also advocates for housing policy and offers ways for companies, congregations, and students to take part. Its public focus is decent, stable places to live, delivered through local builds rather than a single national construction crew.
