International Rescue Committee

The International Rescue Committee provides humanitarian aid to people affected by conflict and disaster. It works in countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East, and it also resettles and supports refugees in communities across the United States. Programs follow people from crisis through the chance to rebuild a life.

The organization’s public materials describe a mission tied to that purpose: help people whose lives have been upended by war or disaster. Staff and partners deliver aid abroad and services for newcomers at home.
